Venezuelan SIMA Project, also known as VEN911 Project, is short for the System of Public Security and Emergency Response of Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the owner of which is Ministry of Interior of Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. In this project, Fullgin Company was deeply involved in the system design, software R&D testing, equipment production and on-site installation and deployment.
Venezuelan SIMA Project is designed to construct a system for social security management and emergency management covering all levels of the country (state, war zone, region, police station, community and important area), forming an integrated public security network characterized by unified alarm-receiving, standardized dispatching in the districts, interconnection and interworking and cooperation through a unified alarm-receiving and dispatching platform and a public security linkage system rooted in terminal nodes such as street, community and family, and to construct a public safety network and monitoring system covering key public areas, streets, communities and families. Through the system construction, criminal activities have been effectively prevented and controlled, the public security platform has been perfected, the government's ruling ability has been improved, and the government's ruling concept of providing the supreme well-being for public security has been practiced.
As of the beginning of 2018, the project had completed the system design, software R&D testing, equipment production and on-site installation and deployment of Phase I, and constructed seven VEN911 security centers. The system runs on the network platform supported by secure applications. The network platform is connected with the hosts and storage devices of centers all over the country through the private network and integrated with the data in public security, emergency response, geographic information and so on, and responds to the needs of the government, industry sectors, individual soldiers and individuals. The system has integrated the perception, communication, cloud computing and public security technologies as well as information and data of emergency site, disposal institution, disposal personnel, disposal vehicle and disposal materials, etc. which can be distributed to users at all levels through the unified cloud service. The system can simultaneously provide service for command centers of the country, war zones and cities as well as communities, merchants and individuals.
In addition, the first phase of VEN911 Project provides nearly 10,000 sets of equipment of up to dozens of types with various functions, including police station, one-key alarm, video monitoring camera, license plate identifier, MDVR, police hand-held terminal, police vehicle-mounted terminal, and so on. At present, most of the peripheral equipment has been installed and put into use. The local police have successfully discovered and prevented many vicious cases in combination with the Chinese technologies, which help the police and greatly shorten the communication time, improve the dispatching efficiency during the case handling, thus making a great contribution to Venezuelan crime fighting.
