With the overall improvement of the economic level of South America and the social development, the economic level of Ecuador has also benefited from a stabler political and economic environment of the country and improved a lot. However, due to the similarity of cultural and social development in the whole South America and the aggregation of population, the social security of Ecuador, which is located on the eastern coast of the Pacific, is prominent, like robbery. In addition, social public resources and government resources are still being dispersed, making it difficult to form a resultant force and a greater resistance to the improvement of the social and economic conditions of the country. In that context, Ecuadorian Government intends to build a system for comprehensive security service with the help of external technical force that can integrate social and public resources and effective digitized and centralized monitoring and management of the basic services of the government, thereby advancing and addressing potential social problems.
Ecuadorian ANT-SIPC Project, short for “Integrated Security of Public and Commercial Transportation” (SITPC, known as ANT Project), is a national large-scale transportation security project, whose general contractor is China Electronic Import & Export Co., Ltd. (CEIEC), with unified and real-time supervision of taxis, buses, long-distance buses, school buses and ambulances throughout the country through the installation of the vehicle-mounted MDVR and the development of monitoring software platform, which is designed to improve the land transportation management and the overall safety level in Ecuador. In this project, Fullgrin Company is responsible for a series of important work such as R&D and pattern finalization, production supervision, actual installation and post operation and maintenance of security equipment kit in the whole ANT project.
For six years from the beginning of the project, it has produced landmark significance for the overall improvement of the transportation management level in Ecuador. Through the information exchange between the vehicle-mounted security kit and the software platform, some key functions of one-key alarm, real-time viewing and video downloading, vehicle positioning, and monitoring of abnormal vehicle running, etc., are realized. And through the integration with the platform of ECU911, the case information and vehicle information can be transmitted to the corresponding departments relating to the police, the fire protection, the medical treatment and so on in time for alarm-receiving and dispatching. Thus, passengers and public transportation drivers can be helped at once in case of emergency. It also provides an efficient and convenient platform for the day-to-day monitoring of Ministry of Transportation, and provides important information and clues for the relevant departments to examine various social issues.
The security kit, as a vehicle-mounted electronic device, has been contributing to the security of public transportation in Ecuador from project implementation to now, and the sustainability of the project has been tested by time. At present, peripheral maintenance and platform technical support are being carried out in an orderly manner. These mobile “traffic police” will continue to fulfill their duties in order to maintain the road and transportation safety of the country.
